SAFU Wallet is a web app. It installs on your phone and your computer from the browser, with no store in between. Native apps and browser extensions are in development and will be announced here first.

The web app installs as an app icon on iPhone and Android today. Native apps for the App Store and Google Play are in development.

How to install

  1. Open the web app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Open SAFU Wallet from the home screen. It runs full screen like an app.

Android

Chrome, Brave, Edge or Samsung Internet.

How to install

  1. Open the web app in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install SAFU Wallet when the banner appears, or open the menu and choose Install app.
  3. Open it from your app drawer. It runs full screen like an app.

Desktop

The web app installs as a windowed app on macOS, Windows and Linux through Chrome, Edge or Safari. A packaged desktop app is in development.

macOS

Chrome, Edge, Brave or Safari 17 and later.

How to install

  1. Open the web app in Chrome, Edge or Brave and press the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
  2. In Safari, choose File, then Add to Dock.
  3. Open SAFU Wallet from the Dock or Launchpad. It runs in its own window.

Windows

Chrome, Edge or Brave on Windows 10 and 11.

  1. Open the web app in Edge or Chrome.
  2. Press the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the menu and choose Install SAFU Wallet.
  3. Open it from the Start menu. It runs in its own window and pins to the taskbar.

Linux

Chrome, Chromium, Edge or Brave on any distribution.
